OBJECTIVE
To contribute my skills in a challenging, position as a creative intern in a well-run organization that offers opportunities for professional growth.

EXPERIENCE
February 2011-Present: Intern for Ben Krantz Studios, Oakland CA
Performed myriad tasks from designing and constructing backdrops to being a second shooter for client events and have had the opportunity to pitch ideas to clients for promotional shoots.

March 2011-Present: Photo. Assistant to Kevin Berne, Oakland CA
Responsible for setting up and taking down sets and lighting as well as providing assistance to actors and Mr. Berne where necessary.

July 2011: Reflections Photography and Video
Acted as a second shooter for client events.

2009-Present: J. Crew Inc.
Performed my duties as a sales associate, which include meeting customers needs in a timely and friendly manner while operating the sales registers and imparting detailed information about J. Crew merchandise and quality.

2010: Society of St. Vincent de Paul
Acted as volunteer one to two times a week, sorting clothes and merchandising storefront mannequins.

2007-2008: Girl Scouts of Northern California
Answered phones and managed over 15 employees with timeliness and organization in dealing with myriad administrative needs. Showed creativity in my creation and design of fliers and other digital and print media to advertise many events sponsored by the Girl Scouts.

2006-2007: Starbucks Coffee Co.
Achieved shift supervisor promotion after six months of exemplary customer service.  Acquired skills in cash handling and cheerfully meeting customer demands in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment with minimal error and attention to detail. 

2005: Bloom & Co., CPA
Assembled tax returns, answered phones, prepared documents using MSOffice software (Word and Excel), performed clerical tasks using office equipment, assisted with billing, dealt with challenging clients, assumed receptionist duties when needed.


SKILLS
I am intelligent and outgoing, with excellent written and oral communication skills.  I can identify and prioritize tasks and can monitor their completion in a timely and logical manner. I have excellent organizational skills and manage time well. I bring a friendly and open attitude to the workplace as well as a highly creative eye as I have been a student of the arts since the age of nine and greatly enjoy the creative process in many art forms including drawing, photography and photo editing. I am dynamic and attentive to detail, and capable of seeing and reaching the overall goal. I have solid computer skills (both MAC and PC environment) and learn new tasks and software quickly. I have experience with professional design applications such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.

EDUCATION
Present: Scheduled to attend University of California Berkeley planning to obtain a degree in Media Studies and studio art. Scheduled to complete my education in Spring 2013.
June 2006: East Bay Waldorf School high school diploma.

INTERESTS
I have performed in numerous lead roles in musical theater in the Bay Area -which fed the needs of my outgoing personality- as well as constantly continuing my education in various art media.
